MediaCom Italy "goes advanced" with Audi A1 and wins out-of-home award

MediaCom Italy has won the Press & Outdoor Key Award in the Urban Furniture and Underground Trains category for its Audi A1 "Go Advanced" campaign.

The Press and Outdoor Key Awards reward creativity and effectiveness in printed, out-of-home and new forms of external advertising. Special attention is given to campaigns that manage to embrace all forms of media, including the more 'traditional' channels.

MediaCom's "Go Advanced" campaign, launched in August 2010, used a variety of media to alert consumers to the launch of the new Audi A1 model. A particular highlight of the campaign included placement of a huge ad on the arch of Milan Central Station (above), which was enriched by two maxi-screens at the bottom of the arch.

Barbara Robecchi, Managing Director of Mediacom Italy, and Simona Beretta, Business Unit Director for the Volkswagen Group account, collected the prize along with the client's representatives recently at the IULM University in Milan.
